Who can use it

Cal Teen is for people ages 13 and older. If you're under 13, please use it only together with a parent or guardian.

General information only

Cal Teen gives general, educational information about food. It is not medical, nutrition or health advice, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. Don't use it to make decisions about a medical condition, an allergy or medication. If you're concerned about your growth, acne or diabetes, check with your doctor. Please also check with your parents.

AI answers can be wrong

Results are estimates made by AI from a photo and a short note. The AI may misidentify foods, portions or ingredients. Never rely on Cal Teen to tell you whether a food is safe for an allergy.

Using the app fairly

• Only upload photos you have the right to share, and try to keep other people out of the picture.
• Don't upload anything harmful, unlawful or unrelated to food.
• Don't try to overload, break or misuse the service, or get around its limits.

We may limit or block use that breaks these terms.

No warranty

Cal Teen is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Cal Teen team isn't liable for any loss or harm from using the app or relying on its results.

We may update the app or these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
